The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Local 375, representing longshoremen at the Port of Montreal, has provided a 72-hour general strike notice to management. The strike is scheduled to start on Monday, August 10th, at 7:00 AM ET, and is indefinite in duration. All terminals at the Port of Montreal will be impacted by the strike.
